Every event is hosted by a film industry
professional. Typically the host is a Producer or responsible for acquisitions
at a film company. Hosts can also be a film expert from a leading
publication, film school or major film festival.
The host plays a very important role. After each screenplay excerpt
is performed, the host provides immediate feedback on the work. The
host analyzes the structure and character development of the piece while also
assessing it's market viability. All feedback is provided to the writer
before a live audience. The host is then interviewed at the conclusion
of the event.
